Agenda:

  1. Review of September campout plans ~

Ben Bathman, Shark patrol

Mountain biking in Cedar Hill State Park, 9/21 – 9/23.

Meet @ 6:30 on Friday, $15 per scout plus grub

Mr. Kelly to let us use his flatbed trailer to haul bikes

Each scout to bring their own bike plus safety gear

  1. October 19-21, marksmanship ~ Badger patrol

  1. November 2-4, Webelos Woods ~ Miko, Tim and Brian to head this up and take 4 to 6 scouts of at least 1st class along

  2. November 16-18, fishing ~ Fox patrol

  1. December 26-30, skiing ~ Spartan patrol

Alternative winter camp suggested for those wanting a less expensive campout. Mr. McKnight to get info. on Strake camp

  1. February 16-17 ~ Family camp at Bonham State Park

Park has been reserved, Jeanie to send deposit check

  1. Summer camp ~ Jim McKnight

Jim presented three camps for consideration, with pros/cons, cost, distance, etc. on each.

Those present voted to attend Hale Scout Reservation, July 13 – 19. Jeanie to send a deposit check to hold.

  1. Court of Honor, Oct. 1 ~ John is to look into a quote on a troop projector to be paid with retired scout account money

  2. Webelos visiting dates ~ Miko to check November meeting dates to invite Webelos

  3. Webelos needing a campout may attend fishing campout and/or Webelos Woods

Need to communicate to scouts need to bring proper equipment for each campout.


10.Discussion on possible troop move ~

a.Subcommittee formed to meet with new church ~ Brian Moore, Laura Jones, Miko Sprunck

  1. John to prepare an information packet to present.

  2. Choices need to be presented to entire troop prior to recharter in December so each family can make a decision.
